Take a moment to imagine southwest Colorado without Chimney Rock National Monument…the climb to the Great House that you conquered and the awe inspiring views when you made it to the 7,000 ft. mesa top. Chimney Rock is rich in history and cultural heritage.  This place is important because it preserves a story and culture that is over 1,000 years old and without our protection and preservation it will be lost forever.

For over 20 years, Chimney Rock Interpretive Association (CRIA) has shared the story of the Ancestral Puebloan people with thousands of visitors. But it’s taken the collective effort of people like you to protect places and the history they tell.  CRIA needs your help to keep the interpretive program going at Chimney Rock National Monument and to keep our community rich with history for future generations to share.

Chimney Rock Interpretive Association (CRIA) is currently conducting the Raffle for the Rocks to help raise funds to support the educational programs and continued preservation at the Monument.  By purchasing a $50 raffle ticket you will be entered into a drawing to win up to $3125! Only 250 tickets will be sold ~ WAY better odds of winning than the lottery. The drawing will be held at noon on Labor Day. You do not have to be present to win. To purchase a raffle ticket by credit card you may call the Monument at 970-883-5359 between 9am-4pm.  Raffle tickets can also be purchased at Chimney Rock National Monument, The Pagosa Springs Area Chamber of Commerce located at 105 Hot Springs Blvd, and The Choke Cherry Tree in Talisman Plaza.
