Chimney Rock Interpretive Association invites the public to support their efforts to provide increased numbers of visitors with a meaningful, enjoyable educational experience through interpretive tours and special programs and to the long term preservation of Chimney Rock National Monument by donating to CRIA on Colorado Gives Day, December 6, 2016.
For the seventh consecutive year, Community First Foundation and FirstBank are partnering to present Colorado Gives Day. Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. Donations are accepted through ColoradoGives.org.
This is CRIA’s third year participating in this very important event. As a participating nonprofit on ColoradoGives.org, CRIA will benefit from this initiative in many ways. “The donations CRIA receives on Colorado Gives Day help to ensure our education and preservation mission,” states Danyelle Leentjes, Administrative Director for CRIA. “Our goal is to raise $5,000 this year, which is a big part of our annual operating budget.”
CRIA is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that runs the daily operations and interpretive program at Chimney Rock National Monument in partnership with the USDA Forest Service and the San Juan National Forest. CRIA relies on tour fees, donations and grants and does not receive any federal funding. Please consider making a donation to CRIA on December 6th through ColoradoGives.org.
