The Chimney Rock Interpretive Association (CRIA), Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, elects a board of trustees at the annual meeting in the fall. The elected board of trustees in turn elects officers and holds regular monthly meetings. The 2008 CRIA board and officers are:

  • Barry Wheeless, Secretary
  • John Richardson, Treasurer
  • Sharon Fairchild, Board Member
  • Alan Saltzstein, Board Member
  • Jeanie Lemmo, Board Member
CRIA employs a program director, who manages the interpretive program, and supporting personnel. The current personnel are:

  • Administrative Assistant: Nadia Werby
  • Media Director: Karen Aspin
  • Publicist: Vacant
  • Day Manager: Les Linton
  • Day Manager: Tanice Rampsberger
Primary USDA Forest Service representatives from the San Juan National Forest, Pagosa Ranger District are:

Hours of Operation: In-Season May 15 - September 30, Daily 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Guided Walking Tour Schedule: 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m.
