Site Monitor for Self-Guided Tours volunteering involves being on the paved trail or at the upper parking lot to assist those guests on self-guided tours. Training will be provided in the archaeological material covered by the Volunteer Handbook, interpretation techniques, cultural resource protection law, and radio and safety requirements. The ability to speak one-on-one with visitors is a must. Although not required for a monitor position, First Aid and CPR Training are suggested, and CRIA will pay for this training.
