Chimney Rock Interpretive Association EARLY TOUR - GREAT KIVA TRAIL LOOP FOR FULL MOON PROGRAM As an added feature to our Full Moon Program, we are offering a guided tour of the lower archaeological sites here at Chimney Rock. To take advantage of this opportunity, bring your Moon Program tickets and your early Short Tour tickets, and arrive at the gate one hour before the scheduled "gate opens" time. This will allow time for taking the lower tour and getting to the upper mesa for the Full Moon program presentation. The cost for this special tour is $5.00, with $2.00 of that going directly to the stabilization of the site. The tour will leave the Visitors Cabin 45 minutes before the regular "gate open" time. Those arriving after the special tour has departed will not be admitted, and must wait for the scheduled program at the later time. Only those people on the Great Kiva Trail Loop tour will be admitted up the hill early. The lower trail is "off limits" to everyone else attending that evening. It is our goal to share as much of this beautiful and special place with our guests as possible.
